Southern Architectural Woodwork, Inc. was sold by Charles Porter in November, 2000 to a group of investors. The new company, Southerly's LLC, DBA Southern Architectural Woodwork, remains the exact same company as it was before, with the exact same staff, with the exception that Charles Porter is no longer involved with the company. We have chosen to retain the trade name Southern Architectural Woodwork, because the industry knows and respects the work of Southern and the name stands synonymous with quality, pride in a job well done and integrity in all of its business dealings.
