Southern Architectural Woodwork doesn't rest after manufacturing and finishing a project. It might be easier to ship your completed woodwork to the job site, cross our fingers and hope a local contractor can install it correctly. But we could hardly call that completing the job.
We treat installation as seriously as we treat our wood. The project isn't complete until it is installed and the client is happy. With our level of precision, it only takes one mis-measurement to alter a multi-million dollar project. And we find that unacceptable.
Our installation work starts long before the job is complete. Before we cut the first piece of woodwork we check and double-check every blueprint, CAD drawing and specification to ensure accuracy. Then we meet with the architect to verify that all measurements are correct. We personally go to the job site to take the measurements ourselves. If there are any changes necessary, we go back to the primary designer to work out a solution. After adaptations are made, we start the manufacturing process.
We follow up with two more levels of checks and balances, using our own installation engineers and finally, bringing in a third party to ensure that all measurements are accurate and the project will work as designed. And, as a final touch, our craftsmen are on hand during the installation to oversee and make any final adjustments.
It's all a part of our commitment to quality. After all, it's our name on the work. |
